Accessibility statement

This site is built to be usable by as many people as possible, and accessibility is checked automatically on every change rather than assumed.

What is in place

• Semantic HTML, one main heading per page, headings in order, landmarks for navigation and main content, and a skip link.
• Keyboard operable, every control is reachable and usable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator.
• Labelled forms, every input, select and text area has a programmatically associated label.
• Colour contrast, body text meets the WCAG 2.2 AA threshold of 4.5:1 against its background, verified in both light and dark themes.
• Touch targets, buttons and inputs are at least 44 pixels tall, or spaced so the effective target is.
• Responsive, the layout reflows to a single column on a phone, with data tables in scrollable containers rather than breaking the page.
• Respects preferences, animation is reduced when your system asks for it, and the site follows your light or dark colour scheme.
• No motion traps, no autoplay, no timed content.

What is not perfect

• The generated diagrams are SVG with a text description, not a full alternative rendering of the underlying numbers. The numbers themselves are always present as tables.
• Printed output is designed for sighted use; a screen reader user gets the same figures in the tables on screen.
• This statement has not been certified by an external audit.
